Prepare a useful enquiry
You do not need a complete drawing package to begin. Send the information you have, distinguish it from assumptions and explain which decisions you would like help resolving.
Include the city, audience, intended use of the space and approximate opening window. A floor plan or photographs are helpful when available. Explain whether you are exploring a new showroom, updating an existing space or preparing an exhibition.
For an integrated project, include the audience, product list, design stage and the physical and digital packages under consideration. The delivery-model guide can help define the first scope discussion.
Describe the design stage and the packages for which you need a partner: development, fabrication, site installation, content, interaction or AV coordination. Identify the appointed team's role so interfaces can be discussed clearly.
For fit-out or fabrication, send a drawing list and identify the original designer, the information available for review and the installation setting. Use the existing-design checklist to identify gaps.
Share the proposed display formats, visitor purpose, available films or source material, languages and operating expectations. If equipment is already selected, include the relevant information so content and integration assumptions can be reviewed.
